Do I need a referral to get support from Food Nest UK?

No. You do not need a referral from anyone. No GP letter, no social worker, no proof of income. Simply fill in our Get Support form and get in touch.

Is this free?

No. The cost of a standard food parcel including delivery is £1.99.

Who can apply for a Food Nest delivery?

Anyone in Greater Manchester who feels they could benefit from some extra food support. We do not means test, we do not ask questions about your income and we do not require proof of hardship. If you need support just reach out.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to areas within Greater Manchester. We are growing our delivery area as Food Nest grows. If you are unsure whether we cover your area please get in touch at hello@foodnestuk.com and we will do our best to help.

What is in a Food Nest parcel?

Every parcel contains essential food items packed with care ,things like tinned beans, pasta, rice, tinned vegetables and a few extras. We pack every parcel ourselves to make sure it is good quality food.

What if I have dietary requirements or allergies?

Please let us know in the Get Support form. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements. For a full list of the 14 legally notifiable allergens please see our Policies page.

How quickly will you get back to me?

We aim to respond to every enquiry as quickly as possible and will always acknowledge your message within 48 hours.

Will you confirm before you deliver?

Yes. We will always send you a message the day before your delivery to confirm. We ask that you respond to confirm you are available. If we do not hear back we will always get in touch to rearrange at a time that works for you.

Is my information kept private?

Absolutely. Your details are never shared with anyone outside of Food Nest UK and are only used to arrange your delivery.

We have a zero tolerance approach to abuse, harassment or threatening behaviour directed toward our team, our volunteers or the families we serve.

Anyone found engaging in such behaviour will be immediately blocked from our services and where appropriate reported to the relevant authorities.
