  1. Safeguarding Policy

  • Food Nest Community CIC is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every family we serve

  • Any concerns arising during a delivery are reported and recorded immediately

2. Privacy Policy/Data Protection

  • We collect only your first name, address, and dietary requirements.

  • Your data is never shared with third parties

  • You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@foodnestuk.com

  • Food Nest Community CIC is registered with the ICO - registration number ZC11261.

3. Body Worn Camera Policy

  • Food Nest workers may wear body cameras during deliveries for the safety of staff and members of the public

  • Footage is retained securely and deleted after 30 days unless required for an incident report

  • Cameras are clearly visible at all times

4. Complaints Policy

  • Food Nest UK is committed to delivering a warm, dignified and reliable service to every family we serve

  • We welcome all feedback as it helps us improve

  • If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service please contact us at hello@foodnestuk.com and we will respond within 5 working days

  • All complaints are treated seriously, handled confidentially and recorded internally

  • If you are not satisfied with our response you may escalate your complaint to the CIC Regulator at:

  • Food Nest Community CIC will never treat anyone who makes a complaint any differently or less favourably as a result of raising a concern

Allergen and Dietary Requirements Policy

  • Food Nest UK takes dietary requirements and food allergies seriously

  • We ask all families to declare any dietary requirements or allergies when registering for our service

  • When registering we specifically ask families to identify any of the 14 legally notifiable allergens that apply to their household: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soybeans and sulphur dioxide

  • It is the responsibility of the family to inform Food Nest of any changes to dietary requirements or allergens before their next delivery

  • Food Nest Community CIC cannot accept responsibility for reactions arising from undisclosed or updated dietary requirements or allergens
