Who is Sunny?
Sunny the Bird was born in April 2026, the same month Food Nest UK delivered its very first food parcels to families across Greater Manchester.
Sunny is our mascot, our ambassador, and our promise to every family we serve: that help is always here, always warm, and always judgment-free.
Wherever you see Sunny, on our website, our social media, or on a parcel, you'll know you're in the right place. No judgement. No barriers. Just warmth.

We do not need a referral for you to request a parcel from us. Not now. Not ever.
What is a CIC?
Food Nest UK is a Community Interest Company, known as a CIC.
A CIC is a type of social enterprise that exists entirely for the benefit of the community it serves. Unlike a regular business, every penny of surplus we generate goes straight back into delivering more parcels to more families. There are no shareholders. No profit extracted. Just community.
When you order a parcel, donate, or partner with us, you are investing directly into your community.
